Join Jenny Donovan and Naomi White of Dubbo School of Distance Education as they take you through their school's Core Values course and its impact on learning culture and engagement. The course was developed in response to student disengagement and social isolation. Students needed positive modelling of digital etiquette and online relationships. The Core Values course focuses on Respect, Responsibility and Communication. This course is interactive and is delivered alongside an Induction course, during a student's first week of enrolment. At the end of the course, students sign a Learning Contract which supports their commitment and connection to learning via distance education. The delivery of these two courses underpins the school's wellbeing strategies and focus.
